Welcome back. This is the latest set of cards I've made using the Message in a Bottle set from Stampin' Up!

For the first card I used the bottle filler stamp as a background stamp. I just love it. Not much colour but overall effective. I love the subtle hint on Real Red card stock to frame it all.

For this next card I put the octopus in the jar and added some hearts to match the sentiment. Very cute and I just love the pun. I fussy cut the bottle a used dimensionals to raise it as I didn't use a mat on this card.

I think this is my favourite card out of them all. I love the watercolour effect. The way the colours mesh together. I used Fresh Fig and Bermuda Bay ink for the background.

I used the marbled background stamp from Stampin' Up! to create the background on this card. My card was a little bigger than the stamp so I just centered it to create a boarder at the top and bottom. Again another pun (ny) sentiment to match the stamp. Just love that.

And finally the whale. I tried to use the whole stamp set as I went on making these cards to showcase its versatility. I used the new Copper Trim as a background behind the bottle. I love that you can stretch it out and make what looks like a net. Very cool.

That's it from me for now. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting!

Hi all, Thanks for stopping by. I had my dad pass away on fathers day so I haven't been posting. I have a couple of things to share and hopefully get back to regular blog posts really soon.

This first card was using Crumb Cake card stock. I just love this colour. I used the small square thinlit from the stitched thinlits die set. I just love the texture the faux stitching makes and how it looks on the card. I used snippits of the stamps from the Country Livin stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Trying to go with a masculine look for the month of September to celebrate Fathers day.

With this next card I again used Crumb Cake card stock. I used the full truck from the Country Livin stamp set from Stampin' Up! and watercoloured the grass and sky to create a scene. Again another masculine card for Fathers day. I love how it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed these cards as I had a ball making them. Check back later for more crafty fun. Happy Crafting!

Hey all, Thanks for stopping by. I have been unwell this week so missed the Crazy Crafters Project highlights but I did manage to make a quick card for the Crazy Crafters Blog hop with Martha Inchely. We had to choose a card of Marthas to case. I chose this card to case.

With a Christmas feel to the card from Martha here is what I created.

I used Real Red and Old Olive card stock with the Merry Mistletoe stamp set. To see the cards the other demonstrators have created click on the links below.

Welcome back. This is the latest card I've made using the Magical Mermaid stamp set and it's the first card I'm entering into the Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights run by Kylie Bertucci. We get to vote for our top 5 favourites and they get announced on the Crazy Crafters group page. So head on over and check out everyone's cards and vote for me HERE.

I absolutely love this card. To start I stamped and watercoloured the mermaid using the Aqua Painter and Stampin' Up! Inks. I then fussy cut her out and added some Iridescent Sequins (which I just love) to finish off her tail. I watercoloured the background using the same technique as the mermaid. I then used a speckled stamp in the set to go over the water.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it. Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone. Im back and on a roll with this blogging haha. As mentioned in my last post I have the Magical Mermaid set from Stampin' Up! and love it. I wanted to share this card with you. I love the idea of taking an idea and making it you're own. In crafting its called casing. I got part of the idea trolling pinterest one day and the other is from a fellow demonstrator Stampin Fee. I tweeked it a little and love how it turned out. I stamped the wood grain background using the Hardwood background stamp from Stampin' Up!. I used a blending tool to add some background colour to center of the porthole. I love that part of the card. I stamped and fussy but the shells and the anchor and the bolts around the porthole are retired Stampin' Up! but I love the effect.

Hello and welcome back. I wanted to show you a card I made using the Seaside Shore stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Again another background using the Colour Theory DSP. I used Crumb Cake cardstock to create the sand. I ripped the edge to give that moving feeling then stamped shells on it from the Magical Mermaid stamp set. I used Crumb Cake ink to match the cardstock. Lots of fussy cutting here for the fish and the seaweed. I just love the bright colours, don't you? After the stamping and cutting was done I assembled the card and used the sentiment from the Seaside Shore stamp set. I love how it turned out. Such a cheery card.

Welcome back to my blog. I wanted to share a card with you that I made using a set with powerful meaning. The new Ribbon of Courage Bundle. I wasn't too sure on how to decorate this card but after much playing around, this is what I came up with. I used the Climbing Orchid set to create the flower in the middle. Stamped and cut out of the new in colour Berry Burst. The ribbon was cut out of the new in colour Powdered Pink. I also used the new designer series paper (DSP) called Colour Theory. I hope you like it.

Hello and Welcome to The Purple Stamp Studio. Its been a very long time since I've written a blog and thought it would be a great idea to share my thoughts, ideas and craft journey with you all.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah Spencer and I'm a Craftaholic. I'm also a busy mumma of 4 wonderful children. I've been taking classes and teaching myself new skills over the past 12 years. I also taught others for a while. Everything from cards and scrapbook pages to mini albums and little paper gifts. I love sharing my passion for creating with family and friends. Also with those who have a similar passion for papercraft as I do. Over the years I've met some great people and learnt new techniques. I love watching YouTube and looking at other people's work.

I joined Stampin' Up in February of 2016 because I've always had a love of Stampin' Up products but I finally joined... Just for me. Plus there's nothing like having a craft shop in your own home. So moving forward with my busy life and love of craft I'd like to share this journey with you all.

Well that's all from me for now. Keep checking back to see what's been happening and what's coming next.

Happy Crafting!
