Welcome back. This is the latest card I've made using the Magical Mermaid stamp set and it's the first card I'm entering into the Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights run by Kylie Bertucci. We get to vote for our top 5 favourites and they get announced on the Crazy Crafters group page. So head on over and check out everyone's cards and vote for me HERE.

I absolutely love this card. To start I stamped and watercoloured the mermaid using the Aqua Painter and Stampin' Up! Inks. I then fussy cut her out and added some Iridescent Sequins (which I just love) to finish off her tail. I watercoloured the background using the same technique as the mermaid. I then used a speckled stamp in the set to go over the water.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it. Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone. Im back and on a roll with this blogging haha. As mentioned in my last post I have the Magical Mermaid set from Stampin' Up! and love it. I wanted to share this card with you. I love the idea of taking an idea and making it you're own. In crafting its called casing. I got part of the idea trolling pinterest one day and the other is from a fellow demonstrator Stampin Fee. I tweeked it a little and love how it turned out. I stamped the wood grain background using the Hardwood background stamp from Stampin' Up!. I used a blending tool to add some background colour to center of the porthole. I love that part of the card. I stamped and fussy but the shells and the anchor and the bolts around the porthole are retired Stampin' Up! but I love the effect.

Hello and welcome back. I wanted to show you a card I made using the Seaside Shore stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Again another background using the Colour Theory DSP. I used Crumb Cake cardstock to create the sand. I ripped the edge to give that moving feeling then stamped shells on it from the Magical Mermaid stamp set. I used Crumb Cake ink to match the cardstock. Lots of fussy cutting here for the fish and the seaweed. I just love the bright colours, don't you? After the stamping and cutting was done I assembled the card and used the sentiment from the Seaside Shore stamp set. I love how it turned out. Such a cheery card.

Welcome back to my blog. I wanted to share a card with you that I made using a set with powerful meaning. The new Ribbon of Courage Bundle. I wasn't too sure on how to decorate this card but after much playing around, this is what I came up with. I used the Climbing Orchid set to create the flower in the middle. Stamped and cut out of the new in colour Berry Burst. The ribbon was cut out of the new in colour Powdered Pink. I also used the new designer series paper (DSP) called Colour Theory. I hope you like it.

Hello and Welcome to The Purple Stamp Studio. Its been a very long time since I've written a blog and thought it would be a great idea to share my thoughts, ideas and craft journey with you all.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah Spencer and I'm a Craftaholic. I'm also a busy mumma of 4 wonderful children. I've been taking classes and teaching myself new skills over the past 12 years. I also taught others for a while. Everything from cards and scrapbook pages to mini albums and little paper gifts. I love sharing my passion for creating with family and friends. Also with those who have a similar passion for papercraft as I do. Over the years I've met some great people and learnt new techniques. I love watching YouTube and looking at other people's work.

I joined Stampin' Up in February of 2016 because I've always had a love of Stampin' Up products but I finally joined... Just for me. Plus there's nothing like having a craft shop in your own home. So moving forward with my busy life and love of craft I'd like to share this journey with you all.

Well that's all from me for now. Keep checking back to see what's been happening and what's coming next.

Happy Crafting!
